The river Zbruch (Zbrucz in Polish) was the border for many years. Because of it&#8217;s position, it has a history of ethnic diversity as well as particularly susceptible to turmoil and invasion. <\/p>\n<p>On the top of the hills\/cliff over the river Zrbruch is the Skala Podilska Palace, the ruins of the palace of the family <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Agenor_Maria_Go%C5%82uchowski\">Go\u0142uchowski<\/a>.
